Lobbying on behalf of our clients is the focus of our work at David J Cole & Associates. We help our clients achieve their goals allowing them to have the confidence that their efforts are compatible with the City’s regulations.
Organizing and leading diverse groups of member-based associations is also a fundamental service at DJCA. Our firm strives to understand the unique issues facing each association, manage those issues and people, and help to advance the association. DJCA helps to keep both the Association board and staff constantly informed about legislation at both state and local levels that affect each individual association.
As with any local government consulting firm, campaigns are a main area of specialization at DJCA. The firm has worked on numerous successful campaigns, both citizen initiatives and candidate efforts. David J Cole & Associates acted as lead consultant with many successful civic campaigns, including: the Bob Murphy for Lakewood Mayor campaign; various Denver City Council and Denver School Board campaigns; the Friends of Denver’s Historic Auditorium Theater campaign to renovate Denver’s Quigg Newton Auditorium Theatre; and the Great Art for a Great City campaign to expand the Denver Art Museum.
In addition to managing campaigns, DJCA has also consulted on the successful campaigns of the Coloradoans for Responsible Reform/No on 34 and Don’t Turn Race Tracks into Casinos campaign. DJCA has also consulted on past campaigns including, Citizens for a New Stadium campaign (Denver Metro area); Growth Moratorium campaign in Castle Rock; Colorado For Baseball campaign (Coors Field); Denver International Airport campaigns in both Adams County and Denver; and both of Mayor Wellington Webb’s mayoral campaigns.

(LDDI); the Highland United Neighbors, Inc. (HUNI); Curtis Park Neighbors’ Neighborhood Organization; the Lower Downtown Neighborhood Association (LoDoNa), the Neighborhood Partnership; and various neighborhood zoning committees.
